Zink: From Dell (Photo credit: bfishadow)
Google disputes the claims that A phones have been infected with spam. On July 4th, Microsoft Terry Zink claimed A phones being on a botnet.
Google said, “Our analysis suggests that spammers are using infected computers and a fake mobile signature to try to bypass anti-spam mechanisms in the email platform they’re using.”
By doing such, this junk mail would be able to ignore spam filters. Mobile security Lookout also disagreed with Zink’s claim.
Yahoo‘s app seemed to be the originator of the problem and it was already being worked on.
